Chenrezig Empowerment 四臂观音灌顶

观世音菩萨即是一切诸佛的大慈悲心，是为利益无量一切众生而化现。观世音菩萨藏名为 “见列西”。藏文 “见” 是眼睛的敬语，如此的眼睛以无尽慈悲心日夜不断地看护众生。观世音菩萨为普渡一切众生，有无量无边化身，如二臂、四臂、八臂、十一面千手千眼观音等。观世音菩萨化现诸多不同身形本尊，是为了让众生选择他所喜欢的，以利众生修行而获得广大利益。

六字大明咒为观世音菩萨微妙心印，有无量无边不可思议功德，为十方诸佛所赞叹。接受传法灌顶，精勤修持仪轨持诵心咒，三世业障悉得清净，了脱生死、究竟成就；且能断无明开智慧，降魔治病、增福慧，消灾延寿，日日得具足六波罗蜜功德，一切金刚护法天龙八部无不欢喜拥护，欲生何佛土，均如愿成就。

Avalokiteshvara (Guan Yin Bodhisattva) embodies the great compassionate heart of all Buddhas, manifesting for the benefit of limitless sentient beings. In Tibetan, Avalokiteshvara is known as “Chenrezig.” The Tibetan word “Chen” is an honorific term for “eye” — these eyes unceasingly watch over all beings day and night with boundless compassion. To liberate all beings, Avalokiteshvara manifests in countless forms, such as the two-armed, four-armed, eight-armed, and eleven-faced thousand-hand thousand-eye forms. He manifests in various aspects so that beings may choose the form that inspires them most, thereby gaining immense benefit through their practice.

The Six-Syllable Mantra (“Om Mani Padme Hum”) is the subtle heart-seal of Avalokiteshvara, endowed with immeasurable and inconceivable merit, praised by all Buddhas of the ten directions. By receiving the empowerment and transmission, and diligently practicing the sadhana and reciting the mantra, one purifies all karmic obscurations of the three times, transcends samsara, and achieves complete enlightenment. It also dispels ignorance and awakens wisdom, subdues obstacles and heals illness, increases merit and wisdom, removes calamities and prolongs life, and perfects the six paramitas each day. All vajra dharma protectors and celestial beings joyfully support the practitioner, and whatever pure buddha-land one aspires to be reborn in, it will be attained without hindrance.
